中国正在全面深化改革，发挥市场在资源配置中的决定性作用，更好发挥政府作用，努力建设开放型经济新体制。2013年，中国成为全球128个国家的最大贸易伙伴，年货物进口额接近2万亿美元，对外非金融类投资超过900亿美元，出境旅游近1亿人次。这些数字还在扩大，将为世界经济增长创造更多需求和机会。

China is deepening reform in a comprehensive way. We will bring into play the decisive role of the market in resources allocation, better leverage the role of the government and build a new system of open economy. In 2013, China was the biggest trading partner to 128 countries in the world. Its imports of goods approached US$2 trillion. Non-financial investment to other countries exceeded US$90 billion. And almost 100 million outbound visits were made by the Chinese tourists. These figures, which keep increasing as we speak, will generate greater demand and opportunities in world economic growth.

中国外交有原则、重情谊、讲道义、谋公正。对大国关系，中国主张不冲突不对抗、相互尊重、合作共赢，共同走和平发展之路。对金砖国家合作，我们尤为珍视，列为外交优先领域，坚持同金砖国家做好朋友、好兄弟、好伙伴。

In conducting diplomacy, China observes principles and morality, values friendship and seeks justice. In developing its relations with major countries, China upholds the principles of non-conflict, non-confrontation, mutual respect and win-win cooperation and advocates joint pursuit of peaceful development. In particular, we value our cooperation with BRICS countries and have made it a priority in our diplomatic agenda. We will always be a good friend, good brother and good partner of other BRICS countries.

我相信，一个发展质量更好、更具包容性、更可持续的中国，一个在国际关系中倡导和平、发展、合作、共赢的中国，一个积极参与金砖国家合作的中国，必将继续为维护世界和平、促进共同发展作出更大贡献。

I am convinced that China, a country that is moving to embrace greater inclusiveness and better development quality and sustainable development, a country that advocates peace, development and win-win cooperation in international relations and a country that takes an active part in cooperation among BRICS countries, will contribute even more to world peace and common development.
