明年，受国内外环境复杂多变和各种矛盾交织作用的影响，中国经济下行压力仍然较大，但中国经济的基本面没有变，正处于新型工业化、信息化、城镇化和农业现代化建设的重要阶段，发展的韧性、潜力和回旋余地很大，完全有条件保持经济持续健康发展。我们将坚持稳中求进，保持宏观政策的连续性稳定性，适时适度预调微调，着力在改革创新、提质增效上下功夫，促进大众创业、万众创新，充分发挥广大劳动者的聪明智慧，形成新的发展动力，推动中国经济保持中高速增长、向中高端水平迈进，继续为东亚地区各国提供更多发展机遇。

Next year, under the influence of complicated and changing domestic and international environment and other intertwined problems and factors, China’s economy may continue to face big downward pressure. Yet the fundamentals have remained unchanged. We are at the crucial stage of a new type of industrialization, IT application, urbanization and agricultural modernization. With great flexibility, huge potentials and room for leverage, we are fully capable of ensuring a sustained and sound economic growth. We will stick to the principle of seeking progress while maintaining stability, ensure the continuity and stability of macro-control policies and adopt pre-adjustment and fine tuning at a proper time within a proper range. The focus of our work is to ensure reform and innovation and improve quality and efficiency. In this way, we will boost entrepreneurship and innovation by the people and give full play to their talent and wisdom, thus forming a new force driving economic development. We will maintain a mid-to high-speed growth of China’s economy and improve the quality of development toward the mid to high end, and continue to bring more development opportunities to countries in East Asia.

东亚是我们共同的家园。东亚实现繁荣稳定是人民之福，东亚如动荡不安将是各国之痛。不管国际风云如何变幻，东亚人终究要在同一块大地上繁衍生息，在同一片田野上耕耘收获，只有真诚相待、互帮互助、同心合力，才能创造属于我们自己的美好生活！

East Asia is our shared homeland. Prosperity and stability in East Asia is a blessing to the people, while turbulence and instability bring misery to all countries. No matter how the international situation may change, people in East Asia will always live, work and thrive together on this land.
