人类只有一个地球，各国共处一个世界。在全球化和互联网无孔不入的覆盖下，生活在不同文化、不同种族、不同宗教和不同社会制度中的72亿人民，只能同乘一艘"诺亚方舟"。各个国家，从政府、企业到社会民众，都需要有同舟共济的意识，认识人类命运共同体，构建人类命运共同体，维护人类命运共同体，发展人类命运共同体。在互利合作中争取共同利益，应对共同挑战，推进共同治理，实现共同发展，促进共同安全。

We have only one planet, and countries share one world. With the penetrating influence of globalization and the Internet, the 7.2 billion citizens of this planet, coming from different cultures, ethnic groups, religions and social systems, are all in the same boat journey together. Every country, from its government to businesses and to the general public, needs to foster a sense of togetherness, and jointly build, safeguard and grow a community of common destiny with all others. We should seek common interests through mutually beneficial cooperation, work together to address challenges and enhance common governance, with a view to enjoying common development and common security.

构建人类命运共同体有两条现实路径：一是推进区域发展一体化。二战后尤其是近20多年来，区域一体化战略加快推进。欧盟一体化从经济到政治安全领域全面推进，北美经贸一体化日益紧密，拉美地区一体化进程加快，非洲也在朝一体化方向努力。亚洲是当今世界最具发展活力和潜力的地区之一，但一体化进程相对滞后。加快亚洲一体化建设，是亚洲发展的内在需要，是构建亚洲命运共同体的必然选择。二是构建解决人类最关注问题的共同体机制。联合国、世界贸易组织和二十国集团（G20）是解决全球和平安全与包容性发展的重要机制，上合组织、亚信、中国与东盟领导人会议（10+1）、东盟与中日韩领导人会议（10+3）在促进地区和平与发展中发挥了积极作用。当今世界面临的新问题、新挑战复杂多样，需要我们不断创新共同体机制，推动国际治理体系向更加公正合理有效的方向发展。

Specifically, there are two areas we can work on to build a community of common destiny for all. The first one is to advance regional integration. After World War II, especially in the past two decades, regional integration has been moving ahead at a faster pace. European integration is advancing on all fronts, from the economic field to political security. North America enjoys deeper economic and trade integration. Regional integration in Latin America is picking up speed. Africa is also moving towards integration. Asia, one of the most dynamic and promising regions in the world, is somewhat lagging in its integration process. We must speed up integration of Asia if we are to achieve development and build a community of common destiny in Asia. The second area to work on is to build frameworks to address the most pressing issues facing mankind. The United Nations, the World Trade Organization and G20 are important mechanisms for global peace and security and inclusive development. Mechanisms such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), the ASEAN Plus One and the ASEAN Plus Three Summits have played an important role in promoting regional peace and development. Today, as we face new problems and complex challenges, we need to strengthen common structures in a creative way and make the global governance system more just, equitable and effective.

II. China is a proponent, supporter and facilitator for building a community of common destiny for all
