十一、into的译法
1. 表示动作的方向，可以译为“到……里”、“进入”等，也可以灵活翻译。如：
* During that time the blood carries the radioactive oxygen up into the brain.
在这段时间里血液能把放射性氧带入脑部。
2. 表示动作实施的对象，可译为“对”、“针对”，或根据上下文灵活体现其含义。 如：
* Two spacecraft are being launched to probe deeply into the atmosphere of Venus.
将发射两个航天器来深入探测金星的大气层。
3. 表示变化，可译为“转换成”、“变成”。如：
* The light emitting diode is used to turn electrical signals into light pulses.
发光二极管用来把电信号变为光脉冲。
十二、of的译法_
1. 在“名词+ of +名词”的结构中，表示与某人、某事有关，常常可先翻译Of后面的名词，并将介词Of译成“对”、“对于”，也可译为“关于”、“在……方面”等， 或根据需要灵活翻译。如：
* From the preceding discussion of the kinetic theory of matter it is clear that heat is a form of energy.
从前面有关物质分子运动论的讨论中可以清楚看出，热是ー种能量形式。
2. 表示所属关系，其结构为“be + of+名词”，可译为“属于”，或者省译。如：
* A large number of radioactive isotopes among the heavy elements are of three series.
重元素中的大量放射性同位素分别属于三个系列。
3. 表示部分或个体与全部的关系，可译为“在……中”、“中的”等。如：
* Of the half-dozen processes, the two basic ones are clarification and filtration.
在这六种方法中，最基本的两种方法是澄清和过滤。
