（四）听取行政长官的施政报告并进行辩论；
(4) To receive and debate the policy addresses of the Chief Executive;
（五）就公共利益问题进行辩论；
(5) To debate any issue concerning public interests;
（六）接受澳门居民申诉并作出处理；
(6) To receive and handle complaints from Macao residents;
（七）如立法会全体议员三分之一联合动议，指控行政长官有严重违法或渎职行为而不辞职，经立法会通过决议，可委托终审法院院长负责组成独立的调查委员会进行调查。
(7) If a motion initiated jointly by one-third of all the members of the Legislative Council charges the Chief Executive with serious breach of law or dereliction of duty and if he or she refuses to resign, the Council may, by a resolution, give a mandate to the President of the Court of Final Appeal to form an independent investigation committee to carry out investigation.
调查委员会如认为有足够证据构成上述指控，立法会以全体议员三分之二多数通过，可提出弹劾案，报请中央人民政府决定；
If the committee considers the evidence sufficient to substantiate such charges, the Council may pass a motion of impeachment by a two-thirds majority of all its members and report it to the Central People’s Government for decision; and
（八）在行使上述各项职权时，如有需要，可传召和要求有关人士作证和提供证据。
(8) To summon, as required when exercising the above-mentioned powers and functions, persons concerned to testify or give evidence.
