“一带一路”是开放的合作平台。“一带一路”伙伴关系不是地缘工具，而是合作平台，欢迎各方平等参与和共同投入；不是另起炉灶，而是现有合作机制的补充，追求形成优势互补的合力。中东欧国家以及意大利、瑞士等欧洲国家积极参与“一带一路”倡议，是十分明智的选择，因为这符合各方的发展利益。

The BRI is an open platform for cooperation. The BRI is not a tool to advance any geopolitical agenda, but a platform for practical cooperation welcoming equal participation and joint efforts from all sides. The BRI is not intended to invent the wheels, but to complement the current international cooperation mechanisms in purpose of pooling together energy by drawing on each other's strength. The active participation of central and eastern European countries and others European countries like Italy and Switzerland in the BRI are wise and sensible choices as it serves the development interests of all parties.

　　“一带一路”合作不是空谈，而是坚持行动导向，推动实实在在的务实合作。立陶宛位于欧盟、波罗的海地区国家、独联体等三大区域经济交汇处和亚欧交通走廊与波罗的海南北交通动脉的十字路口，在交通物流领域有着得天独厚的区位优势, 正着力打造欧亚物流中心，是“一带一路”建设的天然合作伙伴。立陶宛在金融科技、激光、新能源等领域和行业有独特发展优势。立陶宛农产品、奶制品、海鲜、啤酒、冻肉等日益为更多中国消费者熟知和喜爱，小麦和牛肉对华出口进一步便利。立企业对扩大对华贸易与合作热情高涨、充满期待。“一带一路”的大门永远为真诚的合作伙伴敞开。我衷心希望，中欧、中立加强发展战略对接和政策沟通，加速欧亚互联互通，扩大双向投资和合作，面向未来，续写古丝绸之路和琥珀之路的传奇。

BRI cooperation is not a talk shop, but an action-oriented initiative that delivers real outcomes. Located at the juncture of EU, Baltic Region and CIS as well as the crossroad of Eurasian economic corridor and Baltic transportation artery, Lithuania enjoys geographical advantage in the field of transportation and logistics. With the ambition of building Eurasian Logistics Center, Lithuania is a natural partner of the BRI cooperation. Fintech, laser and new energy are also sectors in which Lithuania has a unique competitive edge. While agricultural products, diary products, sea food, beer and frozen meat from Lithuania are gaining popularity among Chinese consumers, export of Lithuanian beef and wheat to China have been further facilitated. Lithuanian companies are highly enthusiastic about and looking forward to expanding trade and cooperation with China. The gate of the BRI will always be open for authentic partners. I sincerely hope, that China-Europe, China-Lithuania join hands in promoting the synergy of our development strategies and policies, speeding up the implementation of EU Strategy on Connecting Europe and Asia, expanding two-way investment and cooperation, to write the modern legendary of Silk Road and Amber Road for a more splendid future.
