中国的成功不仅改善了中国人民的生活，也给世界带来更多机遇。作为全球经济增长的引擎， 中国对世界经济增长的年均贡献率超过30%。2013年，习近平主席提出“一带一路”倡议，旨在为解决当前世界和地区经济面临的问题寻找方案。5年来，中国与“一带一路”相关国家的货物贸易额累计超过5万亿美元，对外直接投资超过600亿美元，为当地创造20多万个就业岗位。

　　今年4月，习近平主席在博鳌亚洲论坛2018年年会开幕式上发表重要讲话。习主席强调，中国过去40年的经济发展是在开放条件下取得的，未来中国经济实现高质量发展也必须在更加开放的条件下进行。中国将继续坚持对外开放基本国策，坚持打开国门搞建设。这是中国基于发展需要作出的战略抉择，同时也是在以实际行动推动经济全球化，造福世界各国人民。

China's success not only improves the livelihood of the Chinese people, but also brings great opportunities for the world. Serving as the essential driving force for the world economy, China contributes over 30% to the growth of global economy. In 2013, President Xi Jinping put forward the Belt and Road Initiative with the aim to resolving the problems facing the world and regional economy. Since then, China's trade with Belt and Road countries has exceeded $5 trillion and outward direct investment has amounted to over $60 billion, creating over 200 ,000 local jobs. 

As President Xi Jinping put it in his keynote speech at Boao Forum for Asia last April, opening-up was key to China's economic growth over the past 40 years and in the same vein, high-quality development of China's economy in the future can only be achieved with greater openness. China will continue to adhere to its fundamental national policy of opening-up, and pursue development with its door wide open. It is a strategic decision made by China based on its need for development as well as a concrete action taken by China to move economic globalization forward in a way that benefits people across the world. 

　　无论中国发展到什么程度，我们都将坚定不移走和平发展道路。中国不会威胁谁，不会试图改变现行国际体系，也不会谋求建立势力范围。在本月初举行的中非合作论坛北京峰会上，习近平主席重申中国对非合作坚持“五不”，即：不干预非洲国家探索符合国情的发展道路，不干涉非洲内政，不把自己的意志强加于人，不在对非援助中附加任何政治条件，不在对非投资融资中谋取政治私利。

　　中国积极发展全球伙伴关系，坚定支持多边主义，积极参与推动全球治理体系变革，致力于建设新型国际关系，推动构建人类命运共同体。中国始终是世界和平的建设者、全球发展的贡献者、国际秩序的维护者。

At the same time, no matter how much progress China has made in development, we will stick to the path of peaceful development. China will not threaten anyone else, nor will China attempt to overturn the existing international system, or seek spheres of influence.

In the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation held early this month, President Xi Jinping stressed that China will follow a "five-no" approach in its relations with Africa, namely no interference in African countries' pursuit of development paths that fit their national conditions; no interference in African countries' internal affairs; no imposition of China's will on African countries; no attachment of political strings to assistance to Africa; and no seeking of selfish political gains in investment and financing cooperation with Africa.
