6.当前，巴以问题形势依然严峻复杂，但和平是大势所趋，和谈是必由之路。唯有在联合国有关决议.“上地换和平”原则、“路线图计划”和“阿拉伯和平倡议”等的基础上，通过和平谈判解决争踹，才能最终实现巴勒斯坦独立建国和巴以两个国家和平共处。中国人民将一如既往推动中东和平进程，推动在中东地区早日实现全面，公正、持久的和平。

Although the situation of the Palestine-Israel issue remains grave and complex, peace is a general trend and peaceful negotiation is the only way leading to the settlement of the issue. Only when disputes were solved through peaceful negotiation, on the basis of relevant United Nations resolutions and the“land for peace" principle, the “Road Map” plan, and the Arabic Peace Initiative, could the goal of establishing an independent Palestinian state and peaceful coexistence be realized. The Chinese people will continue to promote the peace process in the Middle East and push for comprehensive, just and lasting peace in the region.

 

7. 中国和巴勒斯坦虽然相距遥远，但两国人民情谊深厚。中国政府和人民将继续坚定不移支持巴勒斯坦人民为恢复合法权益而开展的正义斗争，支持巴勒斯坦为实现独立建国目标所进行的不懈努力，愿意向巴方提供力所能及的经挤援助。

Despite the distance keeping China and Palestine apart, both peoples share profound friendship. China will continue to firmly support the just efforts of the Palestinian people to restore tbeir legitimate rights and interests and to establish an independent state, and China is willing to offer economic aid within its capacity to Palestine.

 

8. 建立能源领域的战略伙伴关系，符合中国与阿拉伯联合酋长国的长远利益，中方愿与阿方在油气田勘探开发、可再生能源研发利用等领域开展合作。两国要进一步推动中国同海湾合作委员会关系的发展，积极推进贸区谈判，争取尽早达成一致。

To establish China-UAE (United Arab Emirates) strategic partnership in the energy field conforms to the long-term interests of both sides. China is ready to cooperate with the UAE on oil and gas field exploration and development, and R&D and utilization of renewable energy. The two countries should further push forward the relations between China and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and facilitate the China-GCC free trade area negotiation for early consensus.

 

9. 半个世纪以来顺利发展的双边关系随着伊拉克新政府的建立步入新的发展阶段。中国政府一贯尊重伊拉克人民的意愿和选择，支持伊拉克为捍卫民族独立、维护主权和领土完整、实现稳定和发展所作的努力。中国重视与伊拉克发展长期全面稳定的友好关系。

The smooth development of bilateral ties in the past half century had entered a new phase of development with the establishment of the new Iraqi government. The Chinese government always respects the will and choice of the Iraqi people

and supports Iraq’s efforts to safeguard national independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and to realize stability and development. China attaches great importaiice to the long-term development of a stable, all-round and friendly relationship with Iraq.

 

10. 伊斯兰文明与中华文明都对人类社会的进步和发展作出了不可磨灭的贡献。伊斯兰文明和中华文明之间的对话和交流极大地推动了两大文明各自文化的繁荣，促进了东西方文明之间的相互影响。

Both the Islamic and the Chinese civilizations have made indelible contributions to the progress and development of human society. The dialogue and exchanges between the Islamic and the Chinese civilizations have vigorously enhanced their cultural prosperity respectively and stimulated the interactions between the Eastern and Western civilizations.
