不知在哪一篇文字中(现在竟再也想不起来了，抱歎得很），笔者曾有根有据地介绍过“接钱树”的英语等值品就是“money tree”， 以为“money tree”与“摇钱树”是不可多得的天生的一对。现在又有了新的发现，觉得英语中还有一个词，虽不如“money tree”之与“摇钱树”那般字字紧扣，却也能传“摇钱树”之神。此词非别，即“profit machine”是也。请看两词在原作中的用例（目前尚未收入词书）：
