7.中国将进一步把应对气候变化纳入经济社会发展规划，并继续采取强有力的措施。一是争取到2020年单位国内生产总值二氧化碳排放比2005 年有显著下降。二是争取到2020年非化石能源占一次能源消费比重达到 15%左右。三是争取到2020年森林面积比2005年增加4000万公顷，森林蓄积量比2005年增加13亿立方米。四是积极发戚低碳经济和循环经济，研发和推广气候友好技术。
In the years ahead, China will further integrate actions on climate change into its economic and social development plan and take the following measures: FLrst, we will endeavor to cut carbon dioxide emissions per unit af GDP by a notable margin by 2020 from the 2005 level. Second, we will endeavor to increase the share of non-fossil fuels in primary energy consumption to around 15% by 2020. Third, we will endeavor to increase forest coverage by 40 million hectares and forest stock volume by 1.3 billion cubic meters by 2020 from the 2005 levels. Fourth, we will step up effort to develop green economy, low-carbon economy and circular economy, and enhance research, development and disseminalion of climate-friendly technologies.

8.在不久前召开的联合国气候变化峰会上，我代表中国政府明确表示，中国将继续在节能减排、发展可再生能源和核能、增加森林碳汇、发展绿 色经济等方面采取强办力措施，为国际社会共同应对气候变化作出力所能及的贡献。
At the recent United Nations Summit on Climate Change, I stated in clear terms on behalf of the Chinese government that China will continue to take strong measures to conserve energy, reduce emissions, develop renewable energies and nuclear energy, increase forest carbon sink and build green economy, and contribute its share to the international cooperation against climate change.

9.中国成立了以我为组长的国家领导小组，并且制定了第一份应对气候变化的国家方案，这也是发展中闻家的第一份国家方案。我们在“十一五” 规划中已经制定节能减排的约柬性目标。也就是每年单位GDP的能耗要降低4%，五年降低20%。
China has established a national leadership group on tackling climate change, and I'm head of the group. We have formulated a national program on coping with climate change, and this is not only the first program of its kind for China, but also the first one of its kind among all developing countries. In China’s 11th Five-Year Plan，we have set ourselves obligatory targets in saving energy and reducing pollution. The target requires us that we must reduce the per unit GDP energy consumption by 4% every year, and in total by 20% in five years.

10.中美双方要共同落实《中美关于加强气候变化、能源和环境合怍的谅解备忘录》等合作文件，以中美清洁能源联合研究中心止式启动为契机， 深化节能减排、新能源、可再生能源、凊洁能源、提高能效、环境治理等领域合作，使之成为两国关系新亮点。
Both China and the US should jointly implement such cooperation documents as the MOU on Strengthening Cooperation on Climate Change, Energy and Environment, take the opportunity of the official inauguration of China- US Clean Energy Joint Research Center to deepen cooperation on energy saving and emission reduction, new energy, renewable energy, clean energy, energy efficiency improvement and environmental governance and make such cooperation a new bright spot of bilateral relations.
