7.中古1960年建交，古巴是拉美第一个与中华人民共和同建立外交关系的国家。在双方共同努力下，中古友好合作关系进一步全面发展。近年来， 两国高层交往密切，各领域合作富有成果，两国人民间的友谊与日俱增。 中国目前是古巴第二大贸易伙伴，而古巴是中国在拉美的第十大贸易伙伴。

China and Cuba set up diplomatic ties in 1960. Cuba is the first Latin American country to establish diplomatic ties with the People's Republic of China. China-Cuba friendly and cooperative relations have been further and comprehensively developed with the joint efforts of both sides. In recent years, the two countries have maintained frequent high-level visits, conducted fruitful cooperation in various fields and enhanced friendship between the two nations. Currently China is the second largest trading partner of Cuba, while Cuba is the tenth largest trading partner of China in Latin America.

 

8.智利是第一个同新中国建交的南美国家。建交40年来，两国关系发展顺利。2004年胡锦涛主席对智利进行国事访问，两国建立全面合作伙伴关系。近年来，两国关系全面快速发展，高层交往频繁，政治互信加深， 各领域互利合作不断深化，在国际亊务中保持良好合作。

Chile is the first country in South America that established diplomatic ties with China. The bilateral relations have moved forward steadily since the two countries established diplomatic relations 40 years ago. President Hu Jintao's state visit to Chile in 2004 marks the establishment of all-round, cooperative partnership between the two countries. In recent years, the bilateral relations have grown rapidly and comprehensively, with frequent high-level exchanges, increasing political mutual trust, deepening mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields and sound cooperation in international affairs.

 

9.委内瑞拉是拉美重要国家。中委建交36年来，两国关系稳定发展。近年来，双方本着平等互利、共同发展的原则开展各领域友好合作。目前，委内瑞拉是中国在拉美的第五大贸易伙伴。2009年，双边贸易额达71.5 亿美元。在国际和地区事务中，中委保持良好合作。

Venezuela is an important Latin American country. Its relations with China have grown steadily since the two countries established diplomatic ties 36 years ago. The two sides are engaged in friendly cooperation in various fields following the principle of equality, mutual benefit and common development. At present, Venezuela is China’s fifth largest trade partner in Latin America. In 2009, the bilateral trade volume reached US$7.15 billion. China and Venezuela maintain sound cooperation in international and regional affairs.

 

10. 中国和阿根廷建交38年来，特别是两国建立战略伙伴关系5年多来，双边关系发展顺利，互利合作口益深化。中阿都是重要的新兴发展中国家，面对当前复杂多变的国际形势，双方应加强沟通与合作，丰富中阿战略伙伴关系的内涵，维护共同利益，推动国际秩序朝着有利于发展中国家的方向发展。

Since the establishment of diplomatic ties 38 years ago, especially since the launch of the China-Argentina strategic partnership over five years ago， bilateral relations have been developing smoothly and the mutually beneficial cooperation has been deepening. Both China and Argentina are major emerging developing countries. In the face of the complex and changing international situation, both sides should enhance communication and cooperation, enrich the connotation of China-Argentina strategic partnership, safeguard common interests and push the international order to develop in a direction conducive to developing nations.
