中国传统文化中强调统一的思想，崇尚“自上而下”的绝对权威，由此在广告中经常会出现“国优”“部优”“省优”“某某博览会金奖”“中国传统医学理论”，“昔日宫廷秘方，皇家独享”等广告词，以证明该产品的可靠性。在英语文化中则注重理性，强调事实的权威性，以事实为依据，比如通过实验、数据或调查等量化的东西去打动消费者。

所以在汉语广告英译的过程中，一定要避免片面强调权威性，而要以事实为依据去打动消费者。
