汉语原文的长句层次复杂，主题不清。译者用一个英文长句译出，造成语义缠结，令人费解，不符合商贸英语句子宜短的特点。根据商贸英语句子特点，改译：（1)“The quality and prestige first" is our principle. (2)Equality and mutual benefit is our policy. (3) We aim to develop business with traders all over the world. (4) We comply with contracts and keep promises according to international practice.(四个句子）
这样把原文译成四个英文短句，使各层语义一目了然。

原译文的句子冗长拖沓，有不少违背英语习惯的表达法。整个英语句子语义混乱。第一，用Ningbo Free Trade Zone做has devoted的主语，不妥，因为Ningbo Free Trade Zone只是动作发生的地点。第二，construction与后面的三个名词关系不清。第三，原文 “能源充足，供电、供水以及通讯网络完善”是指“巳达到的条件”，而译文用in order to keep enough supply…，则是“为了达到这样的目标”。第四，“电话直拨世界各地”被译成telephones communicating with people...，不通，因为 telephones 是物，怎能与“人” communicating 呢？原译文貌似通顺，实则错误不少。笔者改译：（1) Ningbo Free Trade Zone Administration has tried hard to develop its traffic facilities, power and communication. (2) Now the supply of water and power is adequate. (3) The communication net is good. (4) Program-controlled telephones can help you to contact with people all over the world. (四个句子）
新译文按照商贸英语的句子特点用了四个短句，层次分明，内容清晰，十分有利于信息传递。
