(二)逆译法
如果英语长句的表达次序与汉语的表达习惯不同，甚至完全相反，这时可以将出现在原文的后面的内容提到前面来翻译，即后出现的内容先译。

【原文】hereby agree with the drawers，endorsers and bona-fide holders of the drafts drawn under and in compliance with the terms of this credit that such drafts shall be duly honored on due presentation and delivery of documents as herein specified.
【译文】凡根据本信用证并按其所列条款而开具的汇票向我行提示并交出本证规定 的单据者，我行同意对其出票人、背书人及善意持有人履行付款义务。
【赏析】英语中状语结构多置于句后或句中，而汉语则常常将状语置于句首。该句是 开证行在自由议付信用证中加列的保证文句。在进出口业务中,银行的付款保证是有条 件的，受益人只有在履行了信用证规定的义务后,银行才能保证付款。据此，我们可以先 理出句子的主干结构“We...agree with... that... ”，drawers, endorsers and bona-fide holders 三个并列成分为 “agree with”的宾语；“drafts drawn under and in compliance with the terms of this credit”为“of”的宾语;“that such drafts... ”是“agree”的宾语从句， 表述开证行履行付款义务的条件。句子各成分的逻辑关系明确之后，译文按照汉语表达 习惯逆译，将状语“as herein specified”提前，即先表述履行付款义务的前提条件。

(三)拆译法
拆译法也叫分句法。信用证英语中长句形式多样，结构复杂。有时因介词结构、非谓语结构和插人语较多而使得主句和修饰成分之间的逻辑关系不明显。汉译时常常需要在 理解原文的基础上,分解原文，找出中心内容和修饰成分，理清其逻辑关系，相应译成汉语 短句。此外，为了使语意表述连贯，汉译时常常需要调整语序，增加一些衔接词和过渡性词语。因此,汉译时常常打破原文结构，按照汉语表达习惯重新安排句子结构。

【原文】We shall, unless we are instructed otherwise in your remitting schedule, release the discrepant documents to our customers without further reference to the presenter, in the event that these documents have been taken up by the applicant/ our customers subsequent to our refusal of these documents, notwithstanding the rule referred to in article 16 of UCP 600 dealing with the procedures to be adopted by banks in the process of refusing discrepant documents，with particular reference of placing the documents at the disposal of, or returning them to the presenter.
