刘振民：去年以来，由于日方在钓鱼岛问题上制造“购岛”闹剧，中日关系持续面临严重困难。12月26日，日本首相安倍晋三逆历史潮流而动，公然挑战国际正义和人类良知，悍然参拜供奉有二战甲级战犯牌位的靖国神社，给本已陷入严峻局面的中日关系制造了新的重大政治障碍。
Liu Zhenmin The China-Japan relations have been beset by continuous, serious difficulties since the Japanese side created the farce of “purchasing” the Diaoyu Islands last year. On December 26, Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, going against the tide of history and openly provoking international justice and human conscience, blatantly paid homage to the Yasukuni Shrine where Class-A war criminals of the World War II are consecrated. It erected a new and major political barrier to the China-Japan relations which have already been beset by severe difficulties.
安倍政权竭力推行以历史修正主义为核心的激进右倾保守路线，正在把日本带向十分危险的方向，给东亚地区安全局势带来了日益严重的负面影响。亚洲邻国和国际社会必须高度警惕，坚决阻止日本右翼势力开历史倒车，维护东亚地区来之不易的和平稳定大局。
The Abe government strives to push a radical right conservative path with historical revisionism as its core, bringing Japan to a very dangerous direction and bringing about increasingly serious negative effects to the security situation of East Asia. The neighboring countries in Asia and international community should be of high vigilance to resolutely prevent the Japanese right-wing forces from turning the clock back to the backtrack of the history, so as to maintain the hard-won overall situation of peace and stability in East Asia.
我们一贯主张本着“以史为鉴、面向未来”的精神，在中日四个政治文件的基础上发展长期健康稳定的中日关系。当务之急是日本必须纠正错误，停止挑衅言行，为两国关系改善作出切实努力。
We have always advocated developing long-term, sound, and stable China-Japan relations on the basis of the four political documents between China and Japan in the spirit of “taking history as a mirror and looking into the future”. It is imperative that Japan correct its mistakes, stop provocative words and deeds, and make practical efforts to improve the relations between the two countries.
