2. 增加连词

汉语中的词、词组、句子之间的关系往往通过上下文及语序来表明，较少使用连词；但在英语中常通过连同来表明词与词之间、句与句之间的逻辑关系。因此汉译英时经常需要增补连词，有时是并列连词，有时是表示时间、原因、条件的从属连词。

例8 “……对方有异议的，可以请求人民法院或者仲裁机构确认解除合同的效力。法律、行政法规规定解除合同应当办理批准、登记等手续的，依照其规定。”（《中华人民共和国合同法》第96条）

译文：If the other party disagrees therewith., the party in question may request the people's court or an arbitration institution to confirm rescission of the effectiveness of the contract. Where the laws or administrative regulations specify that the rescission of a contract shall go through lhe formalities of approval and registration, the provisions thereof shall be complied with.

3. 增加介词

英语句子中介词的使用非常活跃，汉语中不需用介词的地方，译成英语却常需要增补介词。

例9 下午三点我方将准时发货。

译文：We will delivery the goods on time at three o'clock in the afternoon.

4. 增加冠词

英语中表示特指或独一无二的事物时，都要用定冠词，表示泛指某一类人或事物时使用不定冠词，而汉语中无此种用法。所以汉译英时常需增补必要的冠词。

例10 我们对问题要作全面的分析，才能妥当解决。

译文：We must make a comprehensive analysis of a problem before it can be properly solved.

5. 增加表时态的词 

英语相对于中文来说时态形式多样复杂，在商务汉译英过程中有时需要补充表时态的相关词语。

例11 请尽快确认装运安排。

译文：It would be very appreciated if you could confirm the shipping arrangement as soon as possible.
