例 7 They admitted the feasibility of our proposal.
译文:他们承认我们的建议是可取的。(这里“ feasibility”汉译成“可取的”)
例 8 We noticed a very close agreement between us on the price.
译文:我们注意到双方在价格问题上的看法非常一致。(这里“ agreement”汉译成“ 一致的”)
例 9 The bank is justified in dishonoring a cheque for insufficiency (inadequacy, shortage, shortfall) of funds in his customer's account.
