Q: Today more than one thousand people marched to relevant consulates general in Hong Kong, demanding that the Hong Kong issue be discussed at the G20 Osaka Summit. Some Hong Kong netizens started an initiative to place ads on the front page of foreign newspapers. I wonder what is the Chinese government's position? Will it oppose foreign interference?

　　答：刚才我已经说过，香港事务纯属中国内政，我们坚决反对任何国家、组织和个人干预香港事务和中国内政。

　　关于G20讨论香港问题，在周一举行的中外媒体吹风会上，中方已经作出了回应。我愿重申，G20是国际经济合作论坛，主要讨论经济、贸易、金融等领域问题，重点是加强各国宏观经济政策协调，合作应对挑战。G20不会讨论香港问题，中方也绝不会同意G20讨论香港问题。这完全是中国的内政。

A: As I just said, Hong Kong affairs are purely internal affairs of China. We are firmly against any interference by foreign governments, organizations and individuals in them.

With respect to including Hong Kong to the G20 agenda, we already responded to that at an earlier press briefing on Monday. I will reiterate that the G20 is a forum on international economic cooperation where economic, trade and financial issues will be discussed. The focus is on strengthening macro-economic policy coordination to deal with challenges through cooperation. Hong Kong will not be on the agenda. China will never agree to including it in discussions at the G20 because that is China's internal affair.

　　问：韩国总统文在寅表示，美国与朝鲜正就举行第三次最高领导人会晤进行磋商，中方对此有何评论？

　　答：前两天我在记者会上说过，朝美双方应保持对话接触的势头。我们希望双方能够相向而行，通过对话互相释放善意、解决彼此分歧。中方愿同朝美及其他各方一道，推动朝鲜半岛问题政治解决进程不断向前推进并取得新进展。

Q: ROK President Moon Jae-in said that the US and the DPRK are having discussions on holding a third summit. What's China's comment?

A: As I said here the other day, we believe the DPRK and the US should sustain the momentum of dialogue and engagement. We hope they will meet each other halfway and send goodwill and resolve differences through dialogue. We will work with relevant parties including the DPRK and the US for new progress in the political settlement of the Korean Peninsula issue.
