共建“一带一路”助力沿线国家经济发展和民生改善。中国已与43个沿线国家共建82个境外合作园区，吸引入区企业近3500家，上缴东道国税费20多亿美元，为当地创造将近30万个就业岗位。中国同“一带一路”相关国家的货物贸易额累计超过6万亿美元，对外直接投资超过800亿美元。“一带一路”建设为参与国家和人民带来了实实在在的利益。

The BRI has delivered fruitful outcomes in boosting economic growth and improving people's lives in participating countries. China and 43 countries have jointly built 82 economic cooperation parks, attracting close to 3,500 enterprises, creating as many as 300,000 employment opportunities and US$2 billion in tax revenue for host countries. The trade volume of goods between China and countries joining the BRI has surpassed 6 trillion US dollars. China's direct foreign investment to those countries has exceeded 80 billion US dollars.

　　共建“一带一路”国际合作平台不断完善。“一带一路”国际合作高峰论坛是“一带一路”框架下最高规格的国际合作平台，成为各方凝聚共识、规划合作的重要渠道。第二届“一带一路”国际合作高峰论坛刚刚于4月25至27日在北京举办。

The international platform for Belt and Road cooperation has been steadily strengthened. The Belt and Road Forum (BRF) is the highest-level platform for Belt and Road cooperation where all parties concerned meet to build consensus and adopt plans for future cooperation. The Second BRF for International Cooperation was held in Beijing from 25 to 27 April.

　　本届高峰论坛的主题是“共建‘一带一路’、开创美好未来”，核心是推动“一带一路”合作实现高质量发展。出席的外国国家元首和政府首脑人数明显超过首届论坛。来自100多个国家的数千名各界代表与会。我们举办了12场推动务实合作的分论坛，还首次举办了企业家大会，为工商界对接合作搭建平台。

　　在第二届“一带一路”国际合作高峰论坛成功召开之际，中国期待与包括厄特在内的非洲各国完善双边合作机制，加强“一带一路”倡议项下的发展政策、规划和倡议的对接，共同深化中非各领域务实合作。

This year's BRF themed as 'Belt and Road Cooperation: Shaping a Brighter Shared Future' aims to advance the Belt and Road cooperation to achieve development of higher quality. The number of participating heads of state and prime ministers exceeded that of the first Forum in 2017. This BRF witnessed the presence of several thousand representatives from over 100 countries. Major events of the Forum included 12 thematic forums for promoting pragmatic cooperation, and a CEO conference to build a platform for enterprises to connect and cooperate with one another.

At the moment when the Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation was successfully held, China is looking forward to strengthening bilateral cooperation mechanisms with African countries including Eritrea, reinforcing coordination of development policies, plans and initiatives under the BRI framework, and working together to constantly deepen China-Africa practical cooperation in various sectors.
