不久前，中国政府新出台“中国制造2025”和“互联网+”战略，旨在推动中国制造由大变强，推进智能制造、绿色制造，提升制造业层次和核心竞争力，促进信息化和工业化深度融合。为此，中方提出重点发展新一代信息技术、海洋工程装备及高技术船舶、新材料、生物医药及高性能医疗器械、农业机械装备等10大领域。而上述领域正是北欧国家最擅长、最具竞争力的产业。我们乐见北欧企业各骋所长，分享中国改革和发展带来的红利。

Not long ago, Chinese government issued brand-new “Made in China 2025” strategy and “Internet Plus” action plan, which intend to transform a large manufacturing sector in China into a strong one by promoting intelligent and green production, moving up along the value-chain, strengthening core competitiveness, and integrating IT application with industrialization. In this context, China will focus on developing 10 key industries, such as next generation IT technology, maritime engineering equipment, shipping with advanced technologies, new materials, bio-pharmaceuticals, high-performance medical instruments and agricultural machineries. Nordic countries are highly competitive and competent in these sectors, so we would be delighted to see companies in the region take full advantage of their strengths and share the dividends of China’s reform and progress.

“众人拾柴火焰高。”我相信，在各界有识之士的携手努力下，中国和北欧国家的经贸合作必将不断迈上新的高度，开创互利共赢的美好未来。

As an old Chinese saying goes, when everybody adds fuel the flames rise high. I am confident that with joint efforts by people from all works of life, the economic and trade cooperation between China and Nordic countries will be pushed forward onto a higher level and enter into a bright future that benefits all of us.
