大家上午好。很高兴出席2015北欧中国峰会，与在座的各位来宾一道探讨如何促进中国与北欧国家间的经贸合作。首先，我代表中国大使馆，对哥本哈根投资促进局和安永丹麦共同举办今天的活动表示感谢。

Good Morning! It is my great pleasure to attend the EY Nordic China Summit 2015 and exchange views with all of you on how to enhance the economic and trade cooperation between China and Nordic countries. At the outset, I would like to thank EY and Copenhagen Capacity to make this event possible.

北欧各国同新中国建交都比较早，是中方在政治、经济、科技等各领域重要的合作伙伴。在双边关系发展进程中，经贸合作始终发挥着积极的作用。据中方统计，2014年中国与北欧五国贸易额达411亿美元，同比增长了5.3%。尤为可喜的是，北欧对华出口增速高于进口，达194亿美元，显示出中国市场对北欧产品的需求日渐扩大。北欧新增对华投资超过7亿美元，累计投资76亿美元。相比之下，中国对北欧投资起步虽晚，但增长十分迅速，2014年投资额为3亿美元，累计投资已达79亿美元，占中国对欧总体投资额的近15%，说明北欧国家良好的营商环境和突出的创新能力正吸引着越来越多的中国投资者。这些靓丽数字的背后，凝聚着包括在座各位中国和北欧商界人士的共同努力，我对此表示高度赞赏。

Countries in the Nordic region established diplomatic relations with China in the early days of its founding, and have remained important partners for us in various areas including political dialogue, economic cooperation, and scientific and technological exchanges. As our relations have developed, the economic and trade cooperation has always played a key role in the process. According to our statistics, the trade volume between China and 5 countries in the region totaled $41.1 billion in 2014, an increase of 5.3% year-on-year. It is noteworthy that Nordic countries’ export to China, with a total of $19.4 billion, has grown in a faster pace than your import from China, which shows that China has had increasing demand for products in the region. The investment from the Nordic countries to China was $700million in total last year, making the overall investment stock at $7.6billion. In comparison, Chinese investment in the Nordic region started late but has increased rapidly. The Chinese investment in the region was $300million, and the investment stock $7.9billion in 2014, accounting for almost 15% of entire Chinese investment in Europe. It is the good business environment and great innovative capability in the region that have attracted more and more Chinese investors. The achievements are also the accomplishments of concerted efforts made by the business people from both China and the Nordic region, including all present today, and I highly appreciate that.
