东帝汶是“一带一路”沿线国家，近年来，中东经贸合作不断发展，中国已成为东的重要发展合作伙伴。今年是东方第二次参加上海进博会，中方继续免费为东提供了2个展位，分布在食品及农产品展区和服务贸易展区。东工商总会等9家东企业机构14名代表参展，展出优势特色产品并进行东旅游产业推广，东猫屎咖啡等有机特色农产品广受关注。进博会期间，中国咖啡加工企业与东方参展公司签订了咖啡采购协议。东方代表也对中国发展留下深刻印象。新华社等中国主流媒体进行了专门报道，指出进博会为包括东帝汶在内的很多小国开拓扩展中国这一大市场搭建了宝贵平台，增进了相互了解。

Timor-Leste is an important country along the Belt and Road. In recent years, the economic and trade cooperation between China and Timor-Leste is moving steady and fast. China is always one of the most important partners of Timor-Leste. This year witnessed the second participation of Timor-Leste in the CITE in Shanghai. Chinese side again offered Timor-Leste two booths free in the area of Food and Agricultural Products and the area of Trade Services. Fourteen representatives from nine Timorese enterprises exhibited their distinctive products and promoted the tourism industry of Timor-Leste. Organic and featured Timorese Civet Coffee aroused a wide-spread interest. Some Chinese coffee processor signed purchasing agreement with Timorese exhibiting company on the sidelines of the second CIIE. Meanwhile, China's high-quality development impressed Timorese delegation deeply. According to the report of Xinhua News Agency and other Chinese mainstream media, the import expo has turned out to be a grand stage for small countries like Timor-Leste to explore business opportunities in China, and thus enhanced mutual understanding and friendliness.

　　正如习近平主席在进博会开幕式主旨演讲中指出的那样“中国开放的大门只会越开越大”，中国共产党刚刚举行了十九届四中全会，为中国进一步继续扩大市场开放、深化互利共赢合作、推动共建“一带一路”进一步指明了方向。中国巨大的市场和经济发展潜力将为各国提供更多市场机遇、投资机遇和增长机遇。中方愿同东方一道深化战略对接，全面贯彻落实两国领导人达成的共识，深化各领域互利合作。我希望也相信，随着中国经济的持续稳定发展和共建“一带一路”倡议在东不断推进，中东两国全面合作伙伴关系必将进一步发展，中东必将为推动建设开放型世界经济、构建人类命运共同体做出新的贡献。

As President Xi Jinping pointed out in the Opening Ceremony, "China will open its door only wider to the world". China just concluded the fourth plenary session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, which has set the direction for the further opening up of Chinese market, win-win cooperation and joint construction of the Belt and Road. With a huge market and a great economic potential, China will provide countries world wide with more opportunities in business, investment and economic growth. Hand in hand with Timor-Leste, China is ready to seek greater strategic synergy, full implementation of the important understanding and agreement reached between the leaders of our two sides, and mutual beneficial cooperation in all areas. I hope and I believe that, with the continuous steady development of China's economy and the implementation of joint construction of Belt and Road in Timor-Leste, the comprehensive and cooperative partnership between our two countries will be further developed. China and Timor-Leste will jointly contribute to an open global economy and to a community with a shared future for mankind.
