中国和索马里是真诚友好伙伴，两国合作潜力巨大、发展前景广阔。中方高兴地看到，在穆罕默德总统领导下，在索马里政府和人民的努力下，索马里取得了积极进步，衷心祝愿索马里在和平重建进程取得更大成就。中方将继续秉持习近平主席提出的真实亲诚对非政策原则和正确义利观，遵循和平合作、公开包容、相互借鉴、互利共赢的理念，坚持创新、协调、绿色、开放、共享的发展理念，发展同索马里的关系。中方愿在中非合作论坛北京峰会成果、“一带一路”框架下，积极鼓励中国企业赴索马里投资兴业，加强双方地方合作，推动两国互利共赢。中方愿与国际社会一道继续推进索马里和平发展。索马里人民渴望和平和发展，团结就是力量，希望索马里人民团结一致、共同奋斗，实现国家繁荣振兴。

China and Somalia are the sincere and friendly partners with great potential for cooperation and broad prospects for development. The Chinese side is pleased to see that with the efforts of the federal government and people of Somalia under the leadership of President Mohammed, Somalia has made positive progress, and sincerely wishes Somalia greater achievements in the process of peace and reconstruction. The Chinese side will continue to adhere to the principles of sincerity, practical results, amity and good faith towards Africa and uphold the values of friendship, justice and shared interests which are proposed by President Xi Jinping, follow the ideas of peace and cooperation, openness and inclusiveness, learning from each other, win-win cooperation, and pursue the idea of innovative, coordinated, green, open and shared development to develop relations with Somalia.

The Chinese side is willing to encourage Chinese companies to invest in Somalia, under the framework of the Beijing summit of the China and Africa Cooperation Forum and the Belt and Road initiative, and strengthen the cooperation between the two sides, so as to promote mutual benefit and achieve common development and benefit the two countries and two peoples. China is willing to work with the international community to continue to promote the peaceful development of Somalia. Under the complicated and changeable international economic situation, under the guidance of Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, in the first three quarters of this year, China's economy has maintained overall stability, reform and opening up has been comprehensively deepened, and the stability of employment, financial sector, foreign trade, foreign investment, domestic investment and market expectation has achieved positive achievements. China's economy has great development resilience, potential, room for manoeuvre and huge market. It has great development potential and will grow better in the long run.
