As President Xi Jinping stated, China's door of opening up will not be closed and will only open even wider. China will continue to grow an open economy for win-win cooperation, and it will embrace an open world economy and the multilateral trading system and reject protectionism and unilateralism. As a responsible major country, China actively fulfill its due responsibility and duty in international affairs; China will honor its promises in countering global climate change and actively push forward the common construction of the "Belt and Road"; China will act as a builder of world peace and a contributor to global development, and an upholder of the international order. The Chinese people are willing to join all peoples of the world in creating a beautiful future of greater prosperity and greater peace for mankind.

　　2018年是中非关系“大年”。不久前，2018中非合作论坛北京峰会成功举行，中非领导人一致同意携手打造更加紧密的中非命运共同体，共同规划中非全面战略伙伴关系发展新愿景。中非将通过实施“八大计划”提升务实合作水平。中国将加强与非洲国家在产业产能、基础设施、贸易等领域合作，拓展双方在绿色发展、能力建设、健康卫生、人文交流、和平安全等领域合作潜能，推动“一带一路”建设与非盟《2063年议程》、联合国2030年可持续发展议程和非洲各国发展战略深入对接，以促进中非合作更好更快发展，更多惠及非洲人民。

2018 is a significant year for the development of China-Africa relations. The Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) was successfully held in China last month. All FOCAC leaders agree to jointly build an even stronger China-Africa community with a shared future and forge an even stronger comprehensive strategic and cooperative partnership. China and Africa will comprehensively enhance pragmatic cooperation focusing on the implementation of the eight major initiatives. The eight major initiatives emphasize that China will devote itself to strengthening cooperation with Africa in industrial capability, infrastructure, trade and other fields, and at the same time, expanding the cooperation potentials in green development, capacity building, health care, people-to-people exchange, peace and security, etc. In particular, China will see to it that the Belt and Road Initiative and the AU Agenda 2063, the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the development programs of African countries better complement each other. With these efforts, we are sure to promote better and faster China-Africa cooperation with greater development and bring more benefits for the African people.
