首先，中国艺术家们将以中国京剧的表现形式演绎莎士比亚经典剧目《哈姆雷特》，充分展示京剧“唱、念、做、打”的表演方式，以最纯粹的传统中国艺术形式碰撞西方经典，让大家感受中西合璧的艺术魅力。

　　第二，该剧与丹麦很有渊源。2005年，上海京剧院为参加克隆堡“莎士比亚艺术节”特别创作了这部剧。13年来，该剧应邀赴美国、英国、德国、墨西哥、智利等十几个国家演出，荣获中外多个艺术奖项，引起热烈反响。今年，艺术家们重回该剧的“第二故乡”，为丹麦朋友再次演绎这部经典剧目。

First, artists from China will render their interpretation of the world classic in traditional pure Chinese art form of Peking Opera, employing 'songs, speeches, dance-acting and combat movements'. This way we are able to experience the beauty and charm of cultural dialogue between the East and the West.

Secondly, Peking Opera Hamlet has deep-rooted connection with Denmark. Early in 2005, artists from Shanghai Jingju Theatre Company attended the Shakespeare Festival in Kronborg castle with the same play. During the past 13 years, this play has been staged in more than 10 countries including the US, the UK, Germany, Mexico, Chile etc. It has been well-received and gained various rewards home and abroad. And this year, they are coming back now! The artists returned with its rendition of the same play to Denmark, the very place with special ties of the play.

　　第三，今年是中丹建立全面战略伙伴关系十周年。此次演出正是“十周年”庆祝活动的重要内容之一。我们期待像这样的交流与合作越来越多，中丹友好更加深入人心。

　　“一千个人眼里有一千个哈姆雷特。”希望大家喜欢来自中国的《哈姆雷特》。最后，预祝上海京剧院演出成功！祝愿“莎士比亚艺术节”越办越好！祝愿中丹关系不断迈上新台阶！

Thirdly, this year marks the 10th anniversary of China-Denmark Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. The performance is one of the important celebrations for this special occasion. We hope that in the future there will be more exchanges and cooperation of this kind and China-Denmark friendship will thereby be further enhanced.
