15. The Timor-Leste government appreciated and supported the proposals made by the Chinese government to build a 21st-century Maritime Silk Road and an Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, and would actively participate in these processes.

十六、东帝汶政府重申将继续致力于加入东南亚国家联盟，并通过东盟平台加强与地区国家的合作。中国政府对此表示赞赏，支持东帝汶在地区合作中发挥更大作用。

16. The Timor-Leste government reaffirmed its commitment to joining ASEAN and strengthening cooperation with countries in the region through the ASEAN platform. The Chinese government expressed appreciation for this, and supported Timor-Leste in playing a bigger role in regional cooperation.

十七、双方同意加强在东盟地区论坛框架内的沟通与协调，共同推进救灾、海上安全、反恐、打击跨国犯罪等非传统安全领域的务实合作，共同维护本地区和平、发展与繁荣。

17. The two sides agreed to enhance communication and coordination under the framework of ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF), and jointly push forward pragmatic cooperation on non-traditional security issues such as disaster relief, maritime security, counter-terrorism and combatting transnational crimes to jointly maintain regional peace, development and prosperity.

十八、双方积极评价中国－葡语国家经贸合作论坛（澳门）为促进中国同葡语国家开展互利合作、拉紧经济纽带发挥的重要作用，将共同落实好论坛成果，并继续加强在论坛框架内的合作。

18. The two sides commended the important role of the Forum for Economic and Trade Cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macau) in promoting mutually beneficial cooperation and economic ties. Both sides would fully implement the achievements of the Forum and enhance cooperation under its framework.
