答：大家知道，中方在半岛问题上的主张主要是两个方面，第一，实现半岛无核化；第二，实现和维护半岛持久和平与稳定，进而实现东北亚地区的持久和平与稳定。
要实现这两个目标，我们认为，朝美作为关键当事方，应在相互尊重基础上，切实采取措施，充分考虑和照顾彼此的合理关切，相向而行，共同为实现半岛无核化和持久和平稳定作出努力。我们很高兴，事态是朝着中方所主张和所希望的方向在发展，这就是中方一直以来所发挥的作用，我们也会继续发挥这样的作用。
A: As you know, China's proposition on the Korean Peninsula issue mainly comprises two aspects: first, to realize the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula; second, to achieve and maintain the lasting peace and stability on the Peninsula and then in Northeast Asia.
To achieve these two goals, we believe that the DPRK and the US, as the key parties concerned, should take effective measures, fully consider and accommodate each other's legitimate concerns, and work for the shared goal of realizing denuclearization and lasting peace of the Peninsula on the basis of mutual respect. We are pleased to see that the situation is developing in the direction that China has advocated and hoped for. This is the role that China has always played and will continue to play.
朝美领导人第二次会晤在河内举行，不光是中方，实际上国际社会各方都希望朝美双方能在已有基础上，围绕实现半岛无核化和半岛和平稳定，继续往前迈出更多实质性步伐。
我们希望在河内举行的会晤能够取得成功。从报道中我们也看到，越南政府和人民对这次会晤也做了很多精心准备，我们希望会晤成果不负这样的准备。
The second meeting between the DPRK and the US leaders is going to be held in Hanoi. It is not only the Chinese side, but also actually all parties in the international community, that hope the DPRK and the US will continue to make substantial steps towards realizing the denuclearization, peace and stability on the Peninsula.
