(4) 表示对结论留有商榷余地，英译时常用believe, consider，think, feel 等动词。例如：
1) 我们认为色素稀释试验所得结果是可靠的。
We believe that the conclusion reached rrom experiments with the dye dilution test is reliable.
2) 作者认为，在所添加的糖类中，半乳糖对促进纤维素酶的形成作用最大。
The authors think that among the added sugars galactose gave the best effect on cellulase production.
(5) 表示可能性的结论，英译时常用seem, appear等动词，或用 believe，consider, think, feel 等动词加 probable, possible等表示可能性的形容词。例如：
1) 这种新的工序似乎比现在用的任何方法都优越。
It seems that this now procedure is superior to any of the other methods now in use.
2) 很可能营养不良与这些症状有一定的关系。
It is considered probable that there exists a definite relationship between nutritional defects and these conditions.
2. 表示建议性的结论可用以下表达建议的句式。
(1) 如果建议的语气肯定，表示方案可以实施，英译时可采用 It is +adj.+to V.或 It is + adj. +that clause。
例如：
1) 将测线垂直于已知的或者假定的地质走向标出，通常是比较有利的。
It is frequently advantageous to stake the surveying lines prependicular to the know or presumed geological strike.
2)实验结果是采用图表形式来表示比较理想。
It is desirable that the results of an experiment be presented in graphical form.
(2) 如果所提建议属于设想或者参考意见，目的在于提请对方予以注意和重视，一般语气委碗，英译时乃采用以下几种句型：
