你们是中国和索马里友好的民间使者。中索友谊源远流长。600多年前，中国著名航海家两次率领船队前往摩加迪沙，开启了中索友好的历史篇章。自1960年中索建交以来，两国各领域友好合作取得了丰硕成果。中国为索马里建设了89个项目，包括道路、水库、电站、医院、学校、剧院、体育场等，这些迄今仍广为传颂。1991年以来，中国在双边和多边领域积极支持索马里和平、重建和发展。自2011年迄今，中国政府向索马里提供了力所能及的人道主义物资等援助，衷心祝愿索马里实现持久和平、稳定和繁荣。中国是索马里真诚友好的伙伴，积极帮助索马里开发人力资源，培养国家需要的人才。近年来，中国政府向索马里提供了大量的政府奖学金。目前，索马里学生正在中国多所知名大学深造，为增进中索友好作出了积极贡献。中方愿积极推动两国教育领域的合作，促进两国青年学生之间的交流。今年，中国向索马里提供政府奖学金和中非友谊奖学金。为开发索马里人力资源和培养国家建设人才，中国将向索马里提供更多的各类奖学金,帮助索青年成就青春梦想。曾在中国留学的索马里学生成立了索马里—中国友好协会，续写了两国人民友谊的新篇章，在此，我谨向他们表示诚挚的感谢。希望新同学到中国后，多了解中国文化，刻苦学习，学成后成为促进中国和索马里友好的部长、技术专家、首席执行官、经理、教授、学者，成为两国友好和文化的传播者、实践者，希望老同学们继续为中国和索马里友谊奉献你们的智慧和力量！
Dear students,
You are the friendly civil envoys of the relationship between China and Somalia. China and Somalia enjoy a long friendship. More than 600 years ago, the famous Chinese navigators led the fleet to Mogadishu, opening the history of China-Somalia friendship. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Somalia in 1960, fruitful results of friendly cooperation in various fields have been achieved. China has built 89 projects for Somalia, such as roads, reservoir, hospital, schools, theatre and stadium, which are still widely praised by people. Since 1991, China has actively supported peace, reconstruction and development in Somalia in bilateral and multilateral fields. Since 2011, The Chinese government has actively provided humanitarian assistance to Somalia within its capabilities.We sincerely wish Somalia lasting peace, stability and prosperity. China is a sincere and friendly partner of Somalia, and actively helps Somalia to develop human resources and cultivate and train personnel needed by Somalia. Since recent years, the Chinese government has provided a large number of government scholarships to Somalia. At present, Somali students are studying in more than 30 well-known universities in China and have made positive contributions to promoting China-Somalia friendship. China is ready to actively promote friendly exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in the field of education and promote exchanges between young students of the two countries. This year, China has offered 37 government scholarships and 20 scholarships of China-Africa Friendship Award to Somalia. In order to develop Somali human resources and train national construction personnel, China will provide more scholarships to Somalia. Somali students who studied in China set up the Somali-China Friendship Association, which has succeeded in writing a new chapter of friendship between the two peoples, here I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude for this. I hope that new students will understand more about Chinese culture, become ministers, technical experts, CEOs, managers, professors and scholars who promote friendship between China and Somalia, and become communicators and practitioners of friendship and culture between the two countries, hope you will continue to contribute your wisdom and strength to China-Somalia friendship.

The Communist Party of China, after seven decades of arduous struggle, has successfully embarked on a path of China's socialism with characteristics and achieved enormous national development. China has developed into the second largest economy in the world, and its GDP has exceeded 90 trillion RMB. It is the general trend of China's sustained economic growth in the long run, steady and sound economic development. The stable, healthy and sustainable development of China's economy has sufficient supporting conditions. China is a country with nearly 1.4 billion people, 900 million labor force, 170 million highly educated and skilled human resources, the largest middle-income group in the world, and more than 100 million market participants. We have the strong leadership of the Communist Party of China, our greatest strength lies in our socialist system, which enables us to pool resources in a major mission. This is the key to our success.
