我们将进一步加强同亚洲国家的人文交流。2014年是中国与东盟及蒙古、印度等国的友好交流年，中印缅将共同纪念和平共处五项原则发表60周年。我们将利用各种渠道，扩大人员往来，加强中国文化中心和孔子学院（课堂）建设，增进民间了解和友谊，扩大和深化同各国在教育、文化、旅游、媒体、智库等领域的交流与合作，谱写人文交流新篇章。
We will further strengthen people-to-people and cultural exchanges with other Asian countries. The year of 2014 is the Year of Friendly Exchange between China and the ASEAN, Mongolia, India and other countries. China, India and Myanmar will commemorate together the 60th anniversary of the release of the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence. We will explore various channels to expand personnel exchanges, enhance the construction of Chinese Culture Centers and Confucius Institutes (Classes), promote understanding and friendship among the peoples, expand and deepen exchanges and cooperation with other countries in fields such as education, culture, tourism, media and think tanks, and compose a new chapter of people-to-people and cultural exchanges.
2014年将是中国周边外交大有可为的一年。我们将以党的十八届三中全会精神和周边外交工作座谈会精神为指导，迎难而上，锐意进取，全力做好周边外交各项工作，维护好国家主权、安全和发展利益，更好地为祖国和人民的利益服务，为亚洲的稳定与发展作出更大贡献。
The year of 2014 will be a promising year for China’s neighborhood diplomacy. We will follow the guidance of the spirits of the third Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee and the Conference on the Diplomatic Work with Neighboring Countries, face up to the difficulties, forge ahead with determination, and do all the work well in neighborhood diplomacy with great efforts, so as to well maintain national sovereignty, security and development interests, better serve the interests of the motherland and the people, and make greater contributions to the stability and development in Asia.
