三、双方重申国家不论大小、贫富、强弱，都是国际社会的平等成员。中方重申尊重东帝汶主权和领土完整。东方重申坚定奉行一个中国政策，承认世界上只有一个中国，中华人民共和国政府是代表全中国的唯一合法政府，台湾是中国领土不可分割的一部分，反对任何形式的“台湾独立”，不与台湾建立任何形式的官方关系，不进行任何形式的官方往来，支持两岸关系和平发展和中国和平统一。
3. The two sides reaffirmed that all nations, big or small, rich or poor, strong or weak, are all equal members of the international society. China reiterated its respect for Timor-Leste’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. Timor-Leste reiterated its firm adherence to the one China policy, recognized that there is but one China in the world, the government of the People’s Republic of China is the sole lawful government representing the whole of China, and Taiwan is an inalienable part of the Chinese territory. Timor-Leste is opposed to any form of “Taiwan independence”, will not establish any form of official relationship or conduct any form of official contacts with Taiwan, and supports peaceful development of cross-Straits relations and China’s peaceful reunification.
四、双方同意保持经常性双边交往，加强两国政府、立法机构、政党、友好团体、地方政府间的交流与合作，增进相互了解和信任。
4. The two sides agreed to maintain regular bilateral exchanges and enhance communication and cooperation between the governments, legislative organs, political parties, friendship groups and local governments so as to promote mutual understanding and trust.
五、双方同意结合中国和东帝汶各自国内发展战略，在平等互利基础上，扩大双边贸易和投资规模，加强基础设施、互联互通建设领域合作，不断提升两国经贸合作水平。
5. The two sides agreed to expand bilateral trade and investment scale, strengthen cooperation in connectivity building and infrastructure development, and raise the level of bilateral trade and economic cooperation on the basis of equality and mutual benefit and in keeping with their respective development strategies.
六、双方同意探讨在石油及相关人力资源培训方面开展合作。
6. The two sides agreed to study possible cooperation in the areas of petroleum and related human resources training.
