(2) 副词转译成形容词
当英语的动词转译成汉语的名词时，修饰该英语动词的副词往往转译成汉语的形容词。如：
* A milky white fluid called lymph carries impurities and waste away from the tissues and passes through gland-like structures spaced throughout the lymphatic system that act as filtering valves.
淋巴，一种乳白色的液体，把（人体）各组织内的杂质和代谢废物带走，并通过腺状结构——这些腺状结构分布在所有的淋巴系统内——起着过滤阀的作用。
* Miniature gas detector is chiefly featured by small size, light weight, complete functions and long continuous working time.
袖珍式瓦斯检测器的主要特点是体积小、重量轻、功能全、连续工作时间长。
* Today all the naturally occurring elements that exist on earth have been isolated.
今天所有地球上存在的天然的元素都已被离析出来。

* The device is shown schematically in Fig.2.
图2是这种装置的简图。
* The field exists in all directions but decreases in strength inversely as the square of the distance from the poles of the magnet.
磁场围绕在磁铁的四周，其强度按距离磁铁两个极的距离的平方成反比减弱。
