3、同位语的词序转变
①Two factors, force and distance, are included in the units of work.
力和距离这两个因素都包含在功的单位内。（变序）
②The branch of science, artificial intelligence, is developing rapidly.
人工智能这门科学正在迅速地发展。（变序）
进行同位语翻译时，有时无需改变词序，因此，应视具体情况决定是否改变词序。试比较例句:
③ We call such a zinc atom，an ion with a double positive charge, Zn2+.
我们称这种带有两个正电荷的锌原子为锌离子:Zn2+。（同序）
④ We are all familiar with the fact that nothing in nature will either start or stop moving of itself. 我们都熟知这样一个事实，即；自然界中没有一件东西会自行开始运动或停止运动。
4、定语的词序转变
① Generally speaking ,the fuel available is coal.
一般来说，可用的燃料是煤。（定语“available”译在它所修饰的词“fuel”之前）
② Engine revolution should not exceed the maximum permissible.
发动机的转数不应超过所允许的最大值。 （定语“permissible”译在它所修饰的词“maximum”之前）上面所举为改变词序的离子，翻译后置定语时，人们往往习惯改变词序，但有时不能改变词序，否则会让人费解，甚至误解。请看下面两例：
③ The decimal system of counting has a long history.
十进制计数法有着悠久的历史。
④ In the absence of oxygen untold number of organisms were transformed by heat, pressure, and time into deposits of fossil-fuels-coal, petroleum and natural gas. 无数的有机物，在缺氧的情况下，受热，压力和时间的影响而转化为沉积的矿物燃料－煤、石油和天然气。
5、状语的词序转变
①Being alloyed with certain metals, aluminum can be strengthened.
铝和某些金属熔合后，强度会增大。 （变序、状语译在主语之后）
②Many industrial operation can be carried out in either of two ways which may be called batch and continuous operations.
许多工业操作可用间歇操作或连续操作来完成。 （变序，状语译在谓语之前）
③Chemisches Zentralblatt is particularly valuable for its inclusiveness of the East European and Russian literature.
《化学中心会报》包括东欧和俄罗斯的文献，就这一点来说是特别有价值的。（变序，状语译在表语之前）
