三是促进各民族共同发展，这是解决民族地区长治久安问题的总钥匙。我们始终致力于加快民族地区经济社会发展，着力改善民生。中国国家主席习近平说：“中华民族是一个大家庭，一家人都要过上好日子。”我们把各族人民对美好生活的向往、促进各民族共同繁荣作为奋斗目标，不断加大对民族地区的扶持力度，通过实施西部大开发战略和“兴边富民”行动，让发展成果惠及各族人民。近年来，中国民族地区累积减贫2500多万人，贫困发生率从21%下降到4%。
Third, promoting the common development of all ethnic groups is the master key to realizing lasting peace and stability in ethnic areas. China has been committed to accelerating the economic and social development in ethnic areas and making great endeavors to improve people's livelihood. Chinese President Xi Jinping pointed out, "the Chinese nation is a big family and will bring a better life to every family member". With the aim of fulfilling the aspiration of all ethnic groups for a better life and promoting the common prosperity of all ethnic groups, China has been improving its support to ethnic areas, and through the strategy of developing the western regions and the actions to "enrich border areas and their residents", has had the people of all ethnic groups benefit from its development achievements. In recent years, China has reduced poverty for an aggregate of over 25 million people in ethnic areas, with the poverty incidence dropping from 21% to 4%.
四是坚持中华文化认同，这是各民族共有的精神家园。中华文化是中国各民族文化之集大成，也是国家统一之基、民族团结之本。我们积极倡导各民族在文化上相互尊重与欣赏，相互学习与借鉴，促进各民族文化的传承与交融。我们尊重和依法保护少数民族文化风俗习惯。我们让各民族共享中华文化符号和中华民族形象。
Fourth, the sense of identity with Chinese culture has always been the spiritual home for all ethnic groups. Integrating the splendid cultures of all ethnic groups in China, the Chinese culture forms the foundation of national unity and ethnic solidarity. As an advocate of the idea that all ethnic groups should respect, appreciate and draw from the culture of each other, China is committed to passing on and integrating the diverse cultures of all ethnic groups. China also respects and preserves according to law the culture and customs of every ethnic minority group. Moreover, China enables all ethnic groups to share the symbols of the Chinese culture and the image of the Chinese nation.
五是铸牢中华民族共同体意识，这是连接各民族的共同纽带和激发各民族团结奋进的源泉。中华民族是一个命运共同体，各民族共同开拓中国的辽阔疆土，共同书写中国的悠久历史，共同创造中国的灿烂文化，各族人民共御外侮、同赴国难，在百年抗争中共同熔铸了以爱国主义为核心的伟大民族精神。我们56个民族共同构成了你中有我、我中有你，谁也离不开谁的中华民族命运共同体，一荣俱荣，一损俱损。各民族同呼吸，共命运，心连心，中华民族共同体意识始终是各民族强大凝聚力和非凡创造力的重要源泉。
Fifth, the sense of community for the Chinese nation is reinforced as a bond between all ethnic groups and a dynamic source of their unity and enterprising spirit. All ethnic groups of the Chinese nation, a community with a shared future, have made joint efforts to develop the vast land of China, contribute to the long Chinese history and create the splendid Chinese culture. United as one to guard against foreign aggression and save the country in time of national crisis, all ethnic groups have built the great national spirit based on patriotism, through unrelenting struggle of a century. The 56 ethnic groups form a close-knit community with a shared future for the Chinese nation, where they are getting increasingly interdependent and closely linked and shall rise and fall together. Breathing the same breath as each other, sharing the same future and staying truly connected to each other, all ethnic groups uphold the sense of community for the Chinese nation which remains a vital source of strong solidarity and remarkable creativity among them.
中国的56个民族，血脉相连，风雨同舟，坚定走在中国特色解决民族问题的正确道路上。中华民族“多元一体”是中国发展的巨大优势，各族人民像石榴籽一样紧紧抱在一起，必将共享中华民族新的光荣与梦想。
Connected by fraternal bonds and standing by each other regardless of hardships, the 56 ethnic groups of China will be resolutely on the right track to resolving ethnic issues through solutions with Chinese characteristics. Prospering with the "diversity and solidarity" of the Chinese nation which have been a significant contributor to China's development, the people of all ethnic groups will remain united and certainly benefit from future glory and dreams of the Chinese nation.
