2019年是新中国成立70周年，也是决胜全面建成小康社会，实现第一个百年奋斗目标的关键一年。70年一路走来，中国奇迹举世瞩目，关键就在于有中国共产党的坚强领导，在于中国人民不懈的拼搏奋斗。当前，东帝汶也在全力谋求国家发展，实现经济多元化，改善人民生活水平。2019年是东推进国家战略发展规划的重要一年，也是联合国东帝汶行动20周年，这些都为企业家们提供了宝贵机遇。
The year 2019 is the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, and also a crucial year to secure a decisive victory in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects and to realize the first centenary goal of China. During the past 70 years, the Chinese miracle has attracted worldwide attention and its key lies in the strong leadership of the Chinese Communist Party as well as the unremitting hard-working of the Chinese people. At present, Timor-Leste is also bent on its national development, economic diversification and improving people's livelihood. 2019 is an important year for Timor-Leste to push forward its national strategic development plan, it's also a year for 20th anniversary of UNTAET. All these provide vast opportunity for the entrepreneurs.
我们希望广大侨胞、中资企业继续发扬心系祖（籍）国、热爱东帝汶的爱国爱乡精神，积极在东发展创业，遵守当地法律法规，履行社会责任，为东国家发展及中东友好交流事业做出新的贡献。驻东使馆将继续秉承“以人为本”理念，加强领保工作力度，提升领事便民水平，一如既往地为大家服好务。

We hope that all the overseas Chinese and Chinese enterprises in Timor-Leste could continue to carry forward the love and passion to the native country as well as to Timor-Leste, to actively develop business, to respect and abide by the local laws and fulfill social responsibility here, to make new contributions to Timor-Leste's national development, and to the cause of friendship between China and Timor-Leste.
