连词的一般译法

三、省译
一般来说，连词在英语中运用较多；在汉语里，我们常可把两个或更多的句子成分连起来而不用连词。因此，为了符合汉语的表达和修辞习惯，有时连词也可以省略不译。如：
* While germanium is affected more by heat than silicon because of its lower energy gap, nevertheless this lower energy gap means that there is greater hole mobility in germanium.
锗由于其能隙低而比硅更容易受热的影响,然而这一较低的能隙却意味着锗的空穴迁 移率较大。（省译了while)
* Electric charges, positive and negative，which are responsible for electrical force，can wipe one another out and disappear.
产生电场カ的正负电荷会相互抵消棹。（省译了 and)
* Providing that we know both the current and resistance, the voltage can be calculated.
知道了电流和电阻，就能求出电压。（省译了 providing that)
