(二十四）汉语状语转换成英语的主语
汉语状语有时可转换成英语的主语。例如：
1) 人们在十九世纪做了一些用钢筋来加强水泥的试验。
The 19th century saw experiments to make concrete stronger by reinforcing it with iron bars.
2) 在地球外面包围着一层空气，叫做大气层。
The Earth is surrounded by a layer of air called the atmosphere.
3) 在生产用的发电机中没有条形磁铁。
Generators used in production have no bar magnets.

汉语补语有时可转换成英语的状语。例如：
1) 我们的实验进行得很顺利。
Our experiment is going on successfully.
2) 主轴必须造得很精确。
Spindles must be made with accuracy.
3) 在我们所能看见的任何物体中，分子的数量都大得难以想象。
The number of molecules in any object we can see is unimaginably large.
(二十六）汉语补语转换成英语的定语
汉语补语有时可转换成英语的定语。例如：
1)这种工艺掌握得好可提高产量。
A good mastery of this process will increase the output.
2) 润滑适当可减少摩擦。
Proper lubrication reduces friction.
