(三）形容词性主语句
11. 谦虚是一种美德。（形容词）
12. 深刻还是肤浅最终要显示出来的。（联合词组)
13. 它织网的技能之高妙使人诧异。（偏正.词组）
(四）主谓主语句
14. 你领悟到了人生的真谛不很好吗？（描述句式)
15. 毛竹年年绿是为了等待亲人。（判断句式)
16. 瓦楞上许多枯草的断茎当风抖着，这正好说明老屋难免易主的原因。（说明句式)
上述16句，除1、2、6三例外，在英语中都不能一一对等。 如果翻译成英语，就要改变汉语的句型：
3. It is 8 jiao per chi.
4. There lies a small town where the two rivers meet.
5. The winners shouted the loudest/The winners burst into the loudest uproar.
7. It’s advisable to explain the profound in simple terms.
8. One should not be one-sided to study and solve problems.
9. You should be easily understood if you speak in an earnest tone.
10. Why should you buy such a trifle by making such long journey?
11. It's a virtue to be modest.
12. To be profound or superficial, that will be proved in the long run.
13. Everyone is amazed at its superbness in weaving a net.
14. Is it not good that you understand the true meaning of life?
15. The bamboos turn green annually in anticipation of the return of the beloved ones.
