问：据报道，澳大利亚前总理阿博特接受媒体采访时称，英国政府应禁止中国电信企业参与其5G网络建设，“五眼联盟”就此采取一致立场非常重要。澳大利亚网络事务大使费金日前也公开向印度方面表示，允许华为等“高风险供应商”参与5G网络建设存在风险。中方对此有何评论？
Q: Former Australian Prime Minister Abbott said during an interview that the British government should ban Chinese telecommunications companies from its 5G network roll-out and that it is important for the Five Eyes network to have a common approach to this. Australian Ambassador Feakin for Cyber Affairs also said to India that "high-risk vendors" like Huawei will bring risks to its 5G network. I wonder what is your comment on that?
答：一段时间以来，澳大利亚政府滥用国家安全理由，在拿不出任何证据的情况下带头禁止中国企业参与澳第五代通信网络建设，是赤裸裸地针对中国企业的歧视性做法。澳方还对别国的5G网络建设指手画脚，试图游说、煽动其他国家仿效错误做法。这种行为违反基本的市场精神和国际规则，既不光彩、也不道德。中方对此坚决反对。我们奉劝澳方一些人摆正位置，不要一味顽固坚持错误立场，不要自以为是地执意做损人不利己的事。
A: Under the pretext of national security, Australia was the first country to ban Chinese companies from its 5G network roll-out without any evidence of risks. It is blatant discrimination against Chinese companies. Australia has also been lecturing other countries about the 5G network and encouraging them to follow suit. Such disgraceful and immoral conduct is against basic market principles and international rules, which China firmly opposes. We advise some in Australia to not overstep their bounds, to not go further astray on their wrong path, and to stop doing such things that hurt the interests of Australia itself and others.
问：据了解，美国官员已警告所罗门群岛政府，不要迫于中国压力和中国建交。中方对此有何评价？中方是否认为美方企图破坏一个中国原则？
答：众所周知，世界上只有一个中国。坚持一个中国原则是符合国际大义、顺应时代潮流的正确选择，也是世界上178个国家已经作出的选择，是国际社会人心所向、大势所趋。中方愿在和平共处五项原则基础上同所有国家发展友好合作关系。
Q: As far as we know, the US warned the Solomon Islands to not feel pressured in making the decision to establish diplomatic ties with China. I wonder if you have any comment? Do you think the US is attempting to undermine the one-China principle?
A: As is known to all, there is only one China. Commitment to the one-China principle is the right choice that serves the greater good of international relations and meets the trend of the times. This choice has been made by 178 countries. China is ready to develop friendship and cooperation with all countries based on the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence.
中方一贯主张国与国之间发展关系应秉持相互尊重、平等互利、互不干涉内政的基本原则。我们反对美方蛮横干涉别国内政的做法，这种行径不可理喻，也不可接受。
问：据报道，美国会参议院9月11日晚审议通过“维吾尔人权政策法案”，呼吁美政府就涉疆问题加大对华施压力度。中方对此有何评论？
China believes that state-to-state relations should be following the basic principle of mutual respect, equality, mutual benefit and non-interference in each other's internal affairs. We oppose the gross interference in the affairs of other countries by the US side. Such misconduct is unreasonable and unacceptable.
Q: According to media reports, on the evening of September 11, the US Senate reviewed and passed the Uyghur Human Rights Policy Act of 2019, calling on the US government to exert more pressure on China for Xinjiang-related issues. Do you have a comment on that?
答：中方对美国会参议院通过有关法案表示坚决反对。这一法案无视客观事实，对新疆的人权状况和中国政府治疆政策进行歪曲抹黑和无端指责，粗暴干涉中国内政，只会引起中国人民更强烈的愤慨。我们敦促美方尊重客观事实，恢复理性，摒弃冷战思维，停止借涉疆问题干涉中国内政，停止推动有关议案成法，以免损害中美关系大局。
A: China firmly opposes the passage of the bill by the US Senate. In total disregard of facts, this bill smeared and criticized the human rights situation in Xinjiang and the Chinese government's Xinjiang policies. Such flagrant interference in China's internal affairs will only make the Chinese people more indignant. We urge the US side to respect facts, return to reason, discard the Cold-War mentality, stop taking Xinjiang-related issues as a pretext to interfere in China's domestic affairs, and stop pushing the bill to become law so as to prevent damages to the overall relationship between China and the US.
