The second message is exchange and mutual learning.
Exchange and mutual learning enrich civilisations. In China, more and more people have come to appreciate, even fall in love with, Western classical music. Many musicians of Shanghai Symphony Orchestra began their career in China as a student of Western music.
In recent years, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra did concert tours around the world, performing Western classics and Chinese masterpieces for international audiences.
Tonight's concert is such a cultural and music feast, offering the best of both the East and West. I hope it will give everyone a glimpse of the charm of the Chinese civilization. I am sure it will be an excellent opportunity to appreciate the beauty of harmony between different civilisations.
三是“合作共赢”。当今世界正处在大发展大变革大调整之中，和平、发展、合作、共赢是时代潮流。近年来，越来越多的中国优秀艺术家、文艺团体应邀到英国演出，这个月就有逾20个中国艺术团组活跃在爱丁堡艺术节的舞台上。英国许多知名的演艺机构也赴华巡演，赢得了中国观众的掌声与喜爱。中英两国人文交流日益密切，不仅为两国人民带来了丰富多彩的文化生活，也是合作共赢原则的最佳体现。我相信，中国的进一步发展将为两国互利合作提供更加广阔的前景，双方合作将结出更多硕果，更好造福两国人民和世界人民。

The world is undergoing profound development, transformation and adjustment. Peace, development and win-win cooperation remain the theme of our times.
Recent years have seen more and more Chinese artists and art groups coming to the UK. This month alone, there are more than 20 Chinese art groups performing at the Edinburgh Festivals. Many British art groups have also toured China and won the hearts of Chinese audience.
The ever-closer cultural and people-to-people exchanges between China and the UK have enriched our people's life. This is the best example of win-win cooperation.
I am confident that an ever-developing China will create broader prospects for our two countries to engage in more fruitful cooperation and deliver more benefits to the people of our two countries and beyond.
