女士们，先生们，
中巴建交21年来，两国高层交往频繁，政治互信不断加强。中巴两国双边贸易合作项目成果斐然，巴哈玛项目顺利开业并带来大量的游客、就业和经济增长，机场高速路和北阿巴科码头等项目升级了巴哈马的基础设施，海关集装箱车载扫描仪极大地便利了巴进口货物的通关条件。中巴在教育、文化、体育、卫生等领域交流合作不断深化，中方为近百名巴哈马年轻人提供政府奖学金，资助数百人赴华参加各类短期和学历培训。通过共同努力，中巴双方近期已就巴活龙虾对华出口的政府间批准手续和两国直航协议基本达成一致。今年11月，巴哈马外长和旅游部长将参加在上海举办的首届中国国际进口博览会。我相信随着两国关系的不断发展，双方的互利合作将会结出更丰硕的成果。
Ladies and gentlemen,
Currently, China-Bahamas relations have maintained a momentum of sound development. Since China and The Bahamas established diplomatic relations 21 years ago, the two sides have frequent visits and exchanges at all levels, and the mutual political trust of two sides have been deepened. The economic and trade cooperation between our two countries has increased remarkably and several major joint projects have been built. The Baha Mar Project opened successfully and attracted a large number of tourists, created five thousand jobs and made significant contribution to the economy of The Bahamas. With China's concessional loans, the Nassau Airport Expressway and North Abaco Port Project have upgraded the infrastructure of The Bahamas. The exchanges and cooperation in fields of education, culture, sports and health have been deepened continuously. China has provided full government scholarships for nearly one hundred Bahamian young people and has funded hundreds of Bahamians to attend short-term training and degree programs in China. The friendly cooperation have brought tangible benefits to the two peoples.
