今年11月，中国将举行首届中国国际进口博览会。这是中国推进新一轮高水平对外开放的重大决策，是中国主动向世界开放市场的重大举措，将为世界各国出口提供机遇，为各国共享中国发展红利搭建新平台，为世界经济增长注入新动力。中国坚定不移推进经济全球化，维护自由贸易，促进创新驱动。中国对外开放的大门将越开越大，将以更广范围、更大力度、更高水平的对外开放促进全球共同发展。

In November this year, China will hold the First China International Import Expo. This is an important decision made by China to promote a new round of high-level opening-up and a major policy measure of China to further open its market to the world, which will provide new export opportunities for the world, build a new platform for other countries and regions to share China's development dividends, and bring more dynamism to world economic growth. China is firmly committed to economic globalization, free trade and innovation-driven development. China's door of opening-up will only open even wider. China commits itself to opening up wider and deeper to promote common development across the world.
China firmly pursues an independent foreign policy of peace, respects the rights of all peoples to independently choose their development path, and upholds international fairness and justice. China will continue to hold high the banner of peace, development, cooperation, and mutual benefit and uphold its fundamental foreign policy goal of preserving world peace and promoting common development. China remains firm in its commitment to strengthening friendship and cooperation with other countries on the basis of the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence, and to forging a new form of international relations featuring mutual respect, fairness, justice, and win-win cooperation. China will continue to play its part as a responsible major country, and keep contributing Chinese wisdom and strength to global governance. 中索关系长期友好，建交58年来两国关系发展取得了丰硕成果。中国积极支持索和平重建，近年来在人道主义、人力资源开发等领域向索提供了力所能及的援助。中方积极推动两国高层交往，今年索总统穆罕默德率庞大代表团出席中非合作论坛北京峰会，习近平主席、赵乐际书记同穆罕默德总统举行双边会见。两国元首共同见证了两国政府关于共同推进“一带一路”建设的谅解备忘录等双边合作文件的签署。访问取得巨大成功，深化了两国政治互信和友好合作关系。中方积极为索开发人力资源，加强人文交流，两年来共向索提供了98名政府奖学金名额，为索培养国家建设人才。随着中索关系的发展，有越来越多的索政府官员、智库学者、商贸人员、民间人士、妇女组织代表、青年赴华访问、出席会议、培训、经商和考察。中方赞赏在索政府领导下索和平重建取得的积极进步，支持索维护国家主权与领土完整的努力，将继续支持索和平重建，鼓励中国企业赴索投资，推动经贸务实合作，实现共同发展。中方感谢索方长期以来支持中国发展建设，理解与支持中国在涉及其核心利益与重大关切问题上的立场，在国际事务中与中方保持良好沟通与合作。中索合作潜力巨大、前景广阔，中方愿同索方共同努力，加强在“一带一路”倡议、中非合作论坛、中阿合作论坛框架下合作，实现合作共赢、共同发展，谱写两国关系新篇章。

There is time-honoured friendship between China and Somalia. Over the 58 years since the establishment of diplomatic relationship, bilateral relations have yielded fruitful results. China actively supports the peace and reconstruction of Somalia, and has in recent years provided assistance to Somalia within its own ability in humanitarian, human resource development and other fields. China has actively promoted high-level exchanges between the two countries. This year, President Mohamed of Somalia went to China with a large delegation to attend the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation. President Xi Jinping and Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection Zhao Leji respectively held bilateral meetings with President Mohamed. The two heads of state witnessed the signing of agreements on bilateral cooperation, one of which was a memorandum of understanding between the two governments on jointly advance the construction of the Belt and Road. The visit was a great success, which deepened the political mutual trust and the friendly relationship of cooperation between the two countries. China has actively helped develop human resources of Somalia, and promoted people-to-people exchanges. In the recent two years, China has provided 98 government scholarships to help train talents for Somalia's national construction. With the development of China-Somalia relations, more and more Somali government officials, think tank scholars, business people, civil society personnel, representatives of women organizations, and youths are visiting China for meetings, training, business and research. China appreciates the positive progress Somalia has made in its peace and reconstruction process under the leadership of the Somali Government, and supports Somalia's efforts to safeguard sovereignty and territorial integrity. China will continue its support for the peace and reconstruction of Somalia, encourage investments by Chinese enterprises in Somalia, promote pragmatic cooperation in economy and trade, and achieve common development with Somalia. China expresses its gratitude to Somalia for its long-standing support for China's development, for its understanding of and support for China's positions on issues concerning China's core interests and major concerns, and for its communication and cooperation with China on international issues. There are great potentials and broad prospects in the cooperation between China and Somalia. China is willing to work with Somalia to strengthen cooperation under the frameworks of the Belt and Road Initiative, the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation and the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum to achieve win-win cooperation and common development, and to write a new chapter in the relationship between the two countries.
