8.近年来，中欧贸易摩檫有所增加，但中欧贸易的主流是健康的、规范的。我们在处理纺织品贸易等双边经贸摩擦中，已积累了不少互利共赢的经验。只要我们从合作大局出发，坚持协商对话，互作互信，求同存异， 中欧经贸合作的航船就一定能够破浪前进。
Recent years have seen some increase in China-EU trade frictions. However, China-EU trade relations as a whole remain sound. Through addressing textile products and other bilateral trade disputes, we have gained much experience for ensuring mutual benefit and win-win outcome. We should bear in mind the overall interests of China-EU cooperation, continue dialogue and consultation, respect and trust each other and seek common ground while shelving differences. By doing so, we can surely guide the ship of China-EU economic cooperation to cleave waves and charge ahead,
9.中欧关系的未来，有赖于双方始终从战略高度和长远角度把握彼此关系，珍惜和发展来之不易的局面，使其不因一吋一事受到干扰；有赖于双方相互尊重、平等相待，照顾彼此的核心利益和大关切；也有赖于欧洲更客观理性地看待中国，认识到一个发展的中国对欧洲是机遇，而不是挑战。
To achieve a brighter future, we must manage China-European relations from a strategic and long-term perspective, cherish and build on the progress that we have worked so hard to achieve, and see to it that the relations are not obstructed by any individual incident at any particular time. We must respect each other, treat each other as equals, and accommodate each other's core interests and major concerns. It is our hope that Europe will see China in a more objective and sensible light, and recognize that China's development is not a challenge but opportunity.
10.欧方发表声明谴责中方近期处决两名参与拉萨“3.14”严重暴力犯罪事件的藏人并要求中方废除死刑。中国司法机关依法对犯罪嫌疑人逬行了公正、公开审判，将罪大恶极者绳之以法，这是中国的内政和司法权，任何外国无权干涉。中方坚决反对利用死刑问题干涉他国内政的做法。我们要求欧方切实遵守平等和相互尊重原则，不向“藏独”分裂势力发 出错误信号，使中欧关系健康稳定向前发展。
The EU issued a statement, condemning China's recent execution of two Tibetans who participated in Lhasa March 14 Incident and asking China to abolish death penalty. The judicial authorities of China have carried out fair and open trial of the suspects and bring to justice criminals guilty of the most heinous crimes. This is China’s internal affair and judicial sovereignty which brooks no interference from any foreign countries. China strongly opposes the practice of interfering in other's internal affairs under the pretext of the death penalty issue. We urge the EU to earnestly abide by the principle of equality and mutual respect and refrain from sending wrong signals to the separatist forces for “Tibetan Independence”，with a view to promoting the healthy and stable development of China-EU relations.
