1) 实际上一切物质都是热胀冷缩的。

(2) 增补表示地点的连词。例如：
1) 有疑问的地方可以做ー个记号。
Make a mark where you have any doubts or questions.
2) 物体受热的地方，粒子运动得较快。
The particles move faster in the place where the body is being heated.
3) 凡空间狭小而又要求高效放大之处就采用晶体管。
Transistors will be used wherever efficient amplification is required in narrow spaces.
4) 这些程序可加以改变和交替进行,对于那些改变为制造掩模用的现有设备尤其是这样。
Variations and permutations of these procedures are employed, particularly where equipment on hand has been modified for mask manufacture.
(3) 增补表示条件的连词
汉语中ー些表条件的复句，有时不用连接，但译成英语时，则需要补如连词。例如：
1) 温度不变，所有分子的平均速度也就不变。
The average speed of all molecules remains the same so long as the temperature is constant.
