首先，这是中爱经贸合作空间广阔的最好例证。爱沙尼亚倡导自由经济，法律环境开放透明，市场准入宽松，企业国际化程度高。越来越多的中国企业开始将目光投向爱沙尼亚，看重它优越的地理位置、数字技术优势以及高品质的产品和服务。
中国经济的良好发展前景也为两国企业合作注入强劲动力。中国是全球第二大经济体、第二大货物贸易国、第二大对外投资国和第二大外资流入国。过去五年，中国国内生产总值年均增长7.1%，占世界经济比重的15%左右，对世界经济增长贡献率超过30%，对外投资和贸易平均每年直接拉动各国1500万个就业岗位。中国外汇储备充裕，已成为对外投资大国，越来越多像航新科技这样的企业有意愿有能力走出国门，加快国际化步伐。同时，中国有13多亿人口，居民收入年均增长7.4%，消费日益多样化，成为全球最具成长性的大市场。未来五年，中国预计将进口10万亿美元的商品和服务、吸收6000亿美元的外来投资。中爱经济有较强的互补性，两国企业合作有更多机遇和更广阔空间。
First, this cooperation is a good example that demonstrates the vast space of China-Estonia economic and trade cooperation. Estonia advocates a free economy, with an open and transparent legal environment, easy market access and global reach in company business. More and more Chinese companies are looking to Estonia for its superior geographical location, digital technology and high quality products and services.
The sound development prospects of China's economy also inject strong impetus into our cooperation. As the world's second largest economy, the second largest trader, the second largest outbound investor and second largest recipient of foreign investment, China has made many historical achievements. Over the past five years, the Chinese economy registered an average annual growth of over 7.1%, accounted for roughly 15% of global economy, contributing 30% to global growth. China's overseas investment and trade created 15 million jobs worldwide every year. Now China is a major outward investor with abundant foreign exchange reserve. A growing number of companies, like Hangxin Aviation Technology, are both willing and able to explore the global market. Meanwhile, China is a country of over 1.3 billion people. With its personal income rising 7.4% every year, and consumption demands increasingly diversified, China has become the most promising growth market in the world. It is also estimated that, in the next 5 years, China will import 10 trillion US dollars worth of goods and services, and attract 600 billion USD foreign investments. The high complementarity between our economies promises greater potential and more opportunities for our enterprises.
第二，这是中爱两国共建“一带一路”倡议的成果。我犹记得航新科技在他第一次发给使馆的咨询邮件中写道：航新科技为抓住“一带一路”倡议合作机遇，希望了解作为“一带一路”沿线国家的爱沙尼亚的投资环境和机遇。同样，我们也经常接到爱沙尼亚企业对“一带一路”倡议的咨询。没有比这些更生动的案例来说明“一带一路”倡议对两国企业合作、贸易投资发展的强大推动作用了。爱沙尼亚是中国在欧盟和波海地区的重要合作伙伴，是中方推进“一带一路”建设和中国—中东欧国家合作的重要合作伙伴。2017年爱沙尼亚正式加入“一带一路”倡议，两国有关部门签署电子商务和数字丝路合作备忘录，将为双方企业带来更多机遇。
Second, this cooperation is the outcome of our joint efforts to jointly implement the Belt and Road initiative. I still remember the first consulting email from Hangxin Aviation Technology to our embassy. Hangxin wrote in its email: 'in order to grasp the opportunity of the Belt and Road Initiative, we would like to to know about the investment environment and opportunities in Estonia, which is one of the countries along Belt and Road'. Similarly, we often receive inquiries from Estonian enterprises on the Belt and Road initiative. I think nothing could more vividly illustrate the important role of Belt and Road initiative in promoting cooperation, trade and investment development between the two countries.
Estonia is China's important partner in the European Union and the Baltic region. It is also our partner in implementing the Belt and Road Initiative and the 16+1 Cooperation. Last year, Estonia officially joined the Belt and Road Initiative. Our two governments signed two MOUs on e-commerce and digital cooperation, providing new opportunities for businesses of both countries.
