双方回顾了10年来中国—东盟战略伙伴关系的发展，一致认为中国—东盟战略伙伴关系是地区和平、稳定和繁荣的支柱。双方对2013年8月2日在曼谷举行的中国—东盟高层论坛取得成功表示欢迎，一致同意将进一步加强沟通与协调，开好2013年8月29日在北京举行的中国—东盟特别外长会，为2013年10月在文莱举行的第16次中国—东盟领导人会议做好准备。双方期待9月中旬在华举行第六次落实《南海各方行为宣言》高官会和第九次联合工作组会议。
Both sides reviewed the decade-long China-ASEAN Strategic Partnership and agreed that it has stood as a pillar of regional peace, stability and prosperity. Both sides welcomed the successful convening of High-Level Forum on 10th Anniversary of China-ASEAN Strategic Partnership on 2 August 2013 in Bangkok, and will pursue their communication and cooperation for the successful convening of the Special China-ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Beijing on 29 August 2013 and prepare for the 16th China-ASEAN Summit in October 2013 in Brunei. Both sides looked forward to the convening of the upcoming 6the China-ASEAN Senior Officials’ Meeting and the 9th Joint Working Group Meeting on the Implementation of the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the South China Sea (DOC) in China in mid-September 2013.
