3.“比”字译为介词
常见的这类介词有 above，before，behind，below, like，over，beyond，on 等。
例7 这比其他任何事情都重要。
译文：This is of importance before everything else.
例8 旧货的定价，一般总比其实价低得多。
译文：Second-hand goods are in general priced always below their value.
例9 这比你笫一次尝试进了一大步。
译文:This is a big improvement on your first try/attempt.
4.“比”字译为介词词组
常见的这类介词词组有 in contrast with, in comparison with, by comparison, by the side of, without comparison, beyond compare, past compare, beyond compare 等。
例10 与去年相比，他们今年销售量大幅度增加。
译文：As compared with last year, they had a rapid increase in sales.
例11 尽管他多花了一些钱，但相比之下还算便宜。
译文：It cost more money but was cheaper by comparison.
例12 他公司的忠诚是无与伦比的。
译文：His loyalty to the company is beyond compare.
例13 我方产品价格在目前市场上是无法比的。
译文：The price of our product is out of/beyond/without comparison in the current market.
