不知道大家有没有被长智齿折磨过？普特君前几天刚去拔了几颗智齿，以后终于可以吃嘛嘛香了。今天，普特君就来跟大家分享一些跟“牙齿”有关的英文表达。
“智齿”英文怎么说？
智齿一般会在16至35岁之间长出，是人一生中最后长出的牙齿，所以它最靠近喉咙。因为此时期的人们心智比较成熟而得名。同中文一样，“智齿”的英文可以直接翻译为“wisdom teeth”.
那“虎牙”的英文是“tiger tooth”吗？
其实不是的，“虎牙”的英文是“canines”。
释义：Canine teeth or canines are pointed teeth near the front of the mouth of humans and of some animals.
“门牙”千万别翻译成“door tooth”？！
“门牙”的正确表达是“incisors”.
释义：Your incisors are the teeth at the front of your mouth which you use for biting into food.
英文中，跟“牙齿”有关的俚语表达也有很多，一起来学习下：

全副武装

gnash your teeth
释义：to press or hit your teeth together because you feel angry; to feel very angry and upset about something, especially because you cannot get what you want
（尤指因没有得偿所愿而）咬牙切齿，非常愤怒（或沮丧）
He'll be gnashing his teeth when he hears that we lost the contract.
当他听说我们失去了合同，他一定会气得咬牙切齿的。
have a sweet tooth
释义：(informal) to like food that contains a lot of sugar
爱吃甜食
Add more honey if you have a sweet tooth.
如果你喜欢吃甜的就多加点蜂蜜。
