清热排脓 clearing heat and discharging pus 用具有清解热毒、排除脓液作用的方药及其他疗法，治疗热毒壅盛之疮疡的治法。
通腑排脓 catharsis and expelling pus 用具有泻下排脓作用的方药，使蓄积在脏腑内的毒邪得以排出，治疗毒邪内蕴脏腑之痈疡病证的治法。
祛瘀排脓 removing blood stasis and expelling pus 用具有活血祛瘀、排除脓液作用的方药治疗兼有瘀血之脓毒证的治法。

提脓拔毒 elminating pus and toxin 用具有提脓祛腐作用的方药及其他疗法，使内蕴之脓毒得以排出，治疗脓毒证的治法。
提脓去腐 eliminating pus and slough 用具有提脓祛腐作用的方药或其他疗法，使疮疡内蕴之脓毒排出，腐肉脱落，治疗脓毒证的治法。
活血去腐 promoting blood circulation and eliminating necrosis 用具有活血祛瘀作用的方药，以排出内蓄的瘀血毒邪，使腐肉脱落，治疗疮疡的治法。
去腐消肿 eliminating slough and detumescence 用具有提脓祛腐作用的方药及其他疗法，使消退疮肿，腐肉脱落，治疗疮疡的治法。
去腐生肌 eliminating slough and promoting granulation 用具有祛腐生肌作用的方药及其他疗法，促进腐肉脱落、新肉生长，加速疮口愈合，治疗疮疡后期的治法。
透脓生肌 promoting pus drainage and granulation 用具有透脓生肌作用的方药，促进脓液排出，新肉生长，加速疮口愈合，治疗疮疡后期的治法。
生肌收口 promoting granulation and wound healing 用具有生长肌肉、加速疮口愈合作用的方药，治疗疮疡后期的治法。
