1) Every year men and women crowd into cities in search of employment, a decent living, and the excitement and stimulation of urban life. According to a research, the population in Shanghai alone has increased 26% in the last three years. 2) One big problem is the ever-increasing pressure produced by over-crowding. As more and more people flood into cities, city services and facilities have been strained to a breaking point. 3) A second problem is the physical environment.
